Deconstructing the Movies of George Lucas: part 4

INDIANA JONES
The Spielberg directed/Lucas created Indiana Jones movies were influenced by action adventure matinee-serials, history, and archaeology. Common elements in the series deal with Nazis, the occult and supernatural artifacts. There are several documentaries about Hitler, Himmler and the Nazi’s obsession with the occult, specifically the dark side of the occult (Discovery Channel's Nazis: The Occult Conspiracy, Hitler’s Search for the Holy Grail, and National Geographic: Hitler and the Occult). Occultism deals with ancient hidden knowledge from various ancient cultures, mystery religions and mystery schools, and secret societies have carried down this ancient knowledge over thousands of years. Many key Nazis are said to have ties to occult secret societies such as the Vril, Thule, and Black Sun. Thule society member Dietrich Eckart was very influential to Hitler. The Thule society believed in the Aryan race and Hyperborea, or Atlantis, which was said to have had great technological weapons of mass destruction. I haven't found out if Hitler actually went after the Ark, but apparently he got the Spear of Destiny in Austria, supposedly giving him great power. Occultists reference ancient religions and cultures of the world such as Egyptian, various pagan, and the Hindu. The Hindu seemed to be particularly interesting for the Nazis (symbols like the swastika and talk about the Aryan race). Other occult symbols in Nazi imagery include the sig rune, fasces, swastika, black sun, torchlight marches, the may pole, promoting the ring logo and torch relay in the Olympics, etc. Heinrich Himmler was all over the occult, and in 1938, the SS Ahnenerbe traveled on an expedition to Tibet for “scientific research,” with the aim to prove the Aryan race with evidence. They returned with ancient Buddhist texts, mandalas, a robe of a lama as a gift to Hitler, and studies on roots of the Aryan race.

In Raiders of the Lost Ark, the ark’s powers are demonstrated by what looks like electrical bolts of lightning, and among other things, supernatural spirits. It affects the lamps and generators, fries people and melts their faces off. Researchers of the real ark have suggested it to actually be a portable Tesla-type electro-magnetic radioactive weapon of mass destruction of sorts. Author Laurence Gardner describes it as “an insulated, double-plated box with a positive and negative nodes at the top. That’s all it is. You have a 100,000 volt immediate electric capacitor.” Physicist Nassim Haramein points out that when ancient cultures speak of even more ancient cultures, like Atlantis, they destroyed themselves with these great powerful objects, and humans have re-discovered it as the ark we know, and we’ve been trying to figure out this technology all over again ever since. A primitive people's reaction to an incomprehensible technology would be to call it the power of god. He also suggests when the Biblical Moses had the power of the Ark as a guiding force in the exodus, it was really two things; 1) a sacred object, one of many, with another one possibly being the black stone of mecca, and this is really what pharaoh was chasing after him for, and 2) the container, the gold plated cherub noded capacitor container they were instructed to make later. Ancient texts describe it as lifting off, suggesting magnetic anti-gravity tech; the people would follow and settle wherever it settled, building a tabernacle and fence around it. Perhaps too many mishaps occurred where people touched it and got electrocuted, and therefore only the educated initiates would be allowed near it. Belloq put on Jewish priest garb believing he was knowledgeable enough to handle it, but was wrong. There are biblical references such as in Samuel1 and Chronicles1 that talk of a guy coming in from the battlefield where the ark was just used, his clothes torn and dust on his head. My interpretation is that people were vaporized with a death ray coming from the ark, which sounds not unlike Spielberg’s death ray in War of the World’s, and being Jewish, Spielberg was probably influenced by this “torn clothes and dusty” description in the old testament. In the book of Samuel, the ark is captured and taken to Dagon’s temple, and Dagon was found the next morning near the ark with its head and hands blown off, its body remained. Also, people around the vicinity were afflicted with tumors. This sounds like it was radioactive. In Raiders, the powdery material found inside the ark could’ve been so radioactive, it gave radioactive burns and melted faces off. For more recent and ground-breaking views and discoveries about other ancient Egyptian technology harnessing the energy of the earth, see Carmen Boulter’s excellent epic documentary The Egypt Code.

The Sankara stones of the Temple of Doom, I don't know too much about. The replica props have a hidden diamond inside one broken version, but I haven't researched more on that. Generally speaking, the ritualistic cults and ancient civilizations who practiced sacrifice share a common blood theme. Fear produced chemicals (endorphins?) in the blood, so when you drink it, you get a high. In general, rituals and chanting supposedly creates a vibrational energy in the air to conjure and bring about spirits and things from possibly inter-dimensions, good or bad (hmm, sounds like the church, eh eh...). This may tie in with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which has an Aztec/Mayan-looking culture worshiping inter-dimensional beings or gods.

The holy grail legend Parsifal and antisemitic Richard Wagner's music were favorites of Hitler. Last Crusade deals with the search for the holy grail. The Nazis saw themselves as “knightly,” talked about teutonic knights, knights of the round table. Heinrich Himmler’s Wewelsburg Castle was also called Camelot, and it even had a Grail room. He believed himself to be a king in a past life. He dealt with seers and fortune tellers and had a library of books on withcraft. The Ahnenerbe expedition ranged from the Canary Islands to search for Atlantis, Iran to search for evidence of Aryan kings, elongated skulls in Venezuela belonging to possibly Atlantians, grail hunting in Iceland, to searching for the Aryan race Tibet (although, personally I have no idea how Asian people resemble Aryans). The narrator of Hitler’s Search for the Holy Grail has some good closing remarks, “…it would be easy to dismiss...the scholars of the Ahnenerbe as a lunatic fringe, but that’s not how they were seen by the allies officers who interrogated them (at the Nuremberg trials). Their report ends by saying this, ‘It cannot be too strongly emphasized that this was not a crackpot organization. These were men of the highest caliber. Professors from the leading universities. Men of the caliber of the atom splitters and the V-bomb designers, engaged in a project to rewrite the past in order to influence the future course of history.” Interestingly, the doc also says most of the Ahnenerbe scholars and archaeologists went on with their careers after the war and became heads of departments of new institutions.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull deals with the idea of ancient aliens. Normally mainstream media like the History Channel does not entertain alternative researchers, historians, and archaeological findings and anomalous evidence, but things are changing; recently they’ve produced the Ancient Aliens series, which feature the theory and evidence that ancient human civilizations were visited by beings from “the heavens” with vastly superior technology -- extra-terrestrials. This is the crux of 2001: A Space Odyssey (which I hope to deconstruct later). When ancient civilizations talked about astrology, sun-worship, godly powers, stars as guides, beings from heaven, they might as well be talking about aliens. Going further in the research, that would be even too far-out to go into right now, it would be more accurate to call them inter-dimensional beings or entities, as the Harold Oxley character does. This is, from what my research shows, albeit separately but one and the same, what the illuminati/freemasonry and all the spin-off secret societies are really about -- hidden knowledge of the universe and mankind's true history. The intiates of ancient mystery schools took lifetimes to learn this stuff because there's a lot to it. Perhaps, what happened to Cate Blanchett’s character is that her primitive brain wasn’t ready for the information overload, like a overheated computer.

Key figures of ancient alien theory are Erik von Daniken and Zacharia Sitchin. It does relate to illuminati bloodlines and therefore Nazi aryan beliefs, and the "bad guys" in this movie could probably have fit better as Nazis. Maybe involving the Nazi Bell project. Many US government secret black project whistleblowers, which can be heard on shows like Coast to Coast AM and seen on Project Camelot and Avalon’s Youtube channels, allude to the Roswell incident as a key moment where the US had captured a crashed craft, and ever since then has back-engineered that alien technology, spurring on the unusually accelerated scientific and technological growth of the 20th century. The household technological advances we enjoy today were rooted in military projects. The whistleblowers go into amazing depth describing the physics, technology, tests, experiments and experiences. They also go into the similarities with Tesla technology and the importance of it today because what we're talking about free energy; possibly breaking the world's "dependence" on oil.

THX 1138
Lucas expanded his college short film into this 1971 feature. This is a cautionary sci-fi tale about a world of technology, surveillance, physical and emotional suppression, and the hero‘s struggle to escape it. It has been compared the key dystopian works of 1984 and A Brave New World. A wave of other films like The Matrix, Brazil, and Dark City also involve this theme of waking up to learn your world and society is controlled, manipulated, suppressed, oppressed, and the struggle to break out of that system.

On the THX1138 director’s cut dvd, in the documentary “A Legacy of Filmmakers: The Early Years of American Zoetrope,” Lucas recalls that at Zoetrope “everyone was writing their scripts, everyone was hanging at the pool table drinking cappuccinos, and waxing philosophically about the new world order and everything…” From this quote and others, I believe that the American Zoetrope circle of filmmakers (Lucas, Milius, Coppola, etc.) were all over this subject of the new world order. It’s displayed in their films, to one degree or another (I plan on writing about Coppola and Milius later on as well). In the very briefest of explanations, the new world order refers to the secret agenda by global elitists over the ages to eventually create a one world government. With the idea of a pyramidal corporate hierarchy structure that's compartmentalized, it's not hard to grasp. Crucial elements include the IMF, World Bank, EU and UN. The UN’s agency UNESCO talks about things like the New International Economic Order, the New World Information and Communication Order, and Many Voices One World. Julian Huxley, brother of Aldous, was the first Director-General of UNESCO and wrote UNESCO: Its Purpose and Its Philosophy, which aims “to help the emergence of a single world culture with its own philosophy and background of ideas and with its own broad purpose,” and talks of “world unification,” reconciling things like “individualism vs. collectivism, capitalism vs. communism, Christianity vs. Marxism, east and west” and just plain “eschew dogma” and it's written all with a wonderful philanthropic utopian tone. UNESCO would educate the world to function as a world society by using education and mass media.

“And it seems to me perfectly in the cards that there will be within the next generation or so a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing…a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda, brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods.” This describes THX1138 pretty well, but it’s Aldous Huxley (author of the 1932 novel Brave New World) talking about the real world in a UC Berkeley interview in 1962. Also, Julian writes, “taking the techniques of persuasion and information and true propaganda that we have learnt to apply nationally in war, and deliberately bending them to be the international tasks of peace, if necessary utilizing them - as Lenin envisaged - to overcome the resistance of millions to desirable change.” He goes on to push “mass philosophy, a mass creed” by using drama, art, media and mass communication. Communists even called it comparable to communism. So, yeah, there was a backlash against this, but W. Bush brought us back in it.

Aldous’ grandfather biologist Thomas Huxley was called “Darwin’s bulldog” because he heavily promoted the theory of natural selection. And eugenicists believe in selective breeding to improve the human race. Unnatural selection, if you ask me. Julian was head of the British Eugenics Society and like other eugenicists, made comments that seemed to view the lower-class as genetically inferior, shouldn’t have easy access to medical care and should even be sterilized. You can see how this ties in with illuminati/secret society beliefs (Aldous was in the Vedanta society and loved the drugs) in the idea of bloodline racial superiority -- it justifies things in their eyes. Writing with philanthropic well-wishing utopian language, they call for a controlled, depopulated, conditioned, drugged-up, obedient, mindless slave, collective society to benefit mankind. This really describes the world of THX1138. Visually the point is driven home as Lucas had everyone shaved and bald, making them androgynous and stripping them of their individuality.

Was Brave New World a cautionary tale, or a blueprint for the agenda? What are the real-world signs today? They push the vaccines like crazy, but many people today are refusing the vaccines with concern regarding the harmful effects it has caused in certain people. People are refusing GMO foods they push, as we see the rise in popularity in organic food. Protests are rising against additives like fluoride in the tap water and chemtrails in the sky. Every other commercial being an anti-depressant SSRI drug or erection pill gives big pharma big business. They, as corporations do, have high influence in politics, lobbying and writing the bills and legislation. Nazis, the US and CIA have done tests and has released chemicals and diseases on its own citizens and people around the world for years. And we wonder why there’s an increase in autism, cancer, and other diseases...

To quote Thomas Jefferson, “If the people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in a sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.” Well, we have the Food Safety Modernization Act now, which increases the policing of food. Just saying. In THX1138, LUH dares to refuse the mandatory drugging, which awakens feelings, gets her soul back, and gets her partner THX to feel feelings for the first time also.

One of the most important lines in the movie is one of the subtlest, but I think should be emphasized. THX‘s hologram dude says, “How shall the new environment be programmed? It all happened so slowly that…most men failed to realize that anything had happened at all.” This explains how people consent to change, or simply don't care. Over time, slowly, people adapt with societal changes and don‘t notice because it happens over generations. Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov, explains that by ideological subversion and psychological warfare, the aim is for “demoralization. It takes between 15-20 years to demoralize a nation…this is the minimum number of years it takes to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy. Expose to the ideology of the enemy. In other words Marxists, Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least 3 generations of American students.” And countries around the world are systematically taken over by stealthy infiltration of government by banks and corporations, over generations, so that the new generation is unaware or less aware of what legislation changes or events happened in the previous generation to get a government to be at a certain point. In THX1138, people are living underground for so long, perhaps from a WW3 nuclear fall-out, that generations it seems have never seen the sun or the outside world. Towards the end of the film, as THX gets closer to the surface, there are mutated humans; “shell dwellers.”

In the THX1138 commentary, Walter Murch explains that it’s a consumerist society where people buy things they don’t need, just to “buy things.” THX buys a red “dendrite” cube, goes home and puts it in a bin to be recycled into another dendrite. Maybe the action pacifies their needs and wants, while also feeding the corporate monster. The corporations become so big, they basically run governments. The new world order goal has been described as a one world corporate-ocracy, by author Daniel Estulin. For more on the development of this consumerist society watch documentary The Century of the Self, which deals with Edward Bernays, nephew of Sigmund Freud, and his role in advising both government and advertising, using psychological techniques in public relations, propaganda, etc.

The world on THX1138 is a police state; cold and faceless, but with a strange pleasant voice, "What's wrong?". Their words are helpful and “for your own good” in feeling. It resembles the tone of UNESCO, written about earlier. It strangely resembles everything that comes out of the Homeland Security and the TSA. They have wallmart and hotel PSAs. They want to deploy FAST , VIPER teams, portable watchtowers and portable body scanners. Obama renewed the main parts of the USAPATRIOT act. Surveillance is also a key issue in THX1138, where a control room had tabs on everyone’s whereabouts and bio-functions. The RFID microchip was on the table for awhile, talked a lot about by Katherine Albrecht and seen in IBM RFID chip commercials, and now they have eye-scans and bio-metric scans. The UK and USA are one of the top surveilled societies, not because of crime or terrorism, but because it keeps you scared and submissive. DARPA and the CIA created internet. Internet and media corporations are merging left and right. Facebook and GOOGLE, having worked with governments, constantly brag about knowing you so well, where you are, and what you‘re doing. Watch Frontline’s Spying on the Home Front. Google’s motto is “Don’t be evil.” Hm, well, I say evil is subjective with corporations and governments.

On a lighter note, THX1138 character manages to escape by courage and determination, climbs out and sees the glorious sun and birds. He also is let go by the cops because the corporate police state overran their budget in chasing him. Maybe they do have a weakness. Maybe they do have limits to their power. But it only takes one to start the revolution. Lucas: "The film is about a hero that lives in an anthill and dares to go outside, to do something different, to move away from the status quo."

STAR WARS CONTINUED
Sigh...Yeah, yeah, I'm still writing about Star Wars. Get over it.

DESIGN
Lucas: “Color plays an extremely important part in all these films. Red signifying evil, the red blood, the red devil, the red as an accent color for the bad guys. The bad guys mostly exist in a black and white world. The good guys live in an organic world, which is either browns, light browns, tans, or greens, with the blue sky and stuff…which has to do with that…philosophical feeling of a world of absolutes, a mechanical world where things are rigid and absolute, they’re black and white, as opposed to the organic world where it’s more natural…”

On the emperor’s throne room, Lucas said, “Part of this stuff…the window looks like a web…which it does in all of the Sith and Imperial stuff…you’ll see it in Darth Vader’s…tie fighters…it’s a motif we carry through for the bad guys…and he is that spider luring the flies into his web, cause he’s the plotter, he’s the devious one."


HOPE: REBEL ALLIANCE GROWS
As with Luke ‘n friends and the Rebel Alliance, a rebellion can come from a small group of citizens taking up arms -- the Huns, American colonists, French peasants, Vietcong, etc. They’re scrappers, a motley crew or whoever they can find, but they have heart. I think the ideal way to rebel is to be nonviolent -- like Gandhi and MLK jr. organizing boycotts to hurt commerce, upsetting the system, considering that corporations run things. Today, many activist groups, like wearechange.org, make it a point to use non-violence. However, Star Wars’ action and violence is entertaining, I admit.


EWOKS TURN THE TIDE: PRIMITIVE VS. ADVANCED CIVILIZATIONS
“In this case the story is of a very primitive society, apparently weak society, who is able to overcome a very technological society.” Lucas says in the episode 6 commentary track. “This film was written during the Vietnam War where small group of ill-equipped people were able to overcome a mighty power. It’s not a new idea. Attila the Hun was able to overrun the Roman empire. The American colonies were able to overrun the British. And it’s always the same story. The Roman empire had huge mechanical advantage and training advantage over the Huns, but the Huns were still able to overwhelm them with enthusiasm and their humanist and their belief in what they were doing. And that was the main theme for the overall downfall of the Empire. It was basically overcome by humanity…in the form of cute little teddy bears.”


THE FORCE
Ob-Wan explains, “The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It’s an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together…” and later “…let go your conscious self and act on instinct…Your eyes can deceive you. Don’t trust them….Stretch out with your feelings.”

Is the Force a science-based thing or faith-based thing? I say yes. It’s both.

SCIENCE
Lucas has said his midi-chlorian idea is based mitochondria, a symbiotic organism living with cells, necessary for things like cell-division -- being a metaphor that for all life in the universe and/or a society to get along, they have to work together, learn to co-exist in balance, peacefully. We need to cooperate, depend on each other, help each other, for “mutual advantage.” The bigger picture, the deeper science I relate the Force to is also quantum theory which, I admit am not an expert on, is said to be close to coming up with a theory for explaining everything. It would explain the basic building block of everything, an energy particle, being both a wave and a particle, explain time/space, explain the soul, explain the cyclical vortex nature of the universe, that it’s a giant machine made intelligently -- explaining god. Math can explain that there is a god. Nassim Haramein is a key figure. Many theoretical physicists are spiritual. Stuart Hameroff talks about quantum physics and consciousness.

Considering that matter is not solid, the basic building blocks are energy particles vibrating at different frequencies. Yoda says, “Its energy surrounds us….and binds us. Luminous beings are we…not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you--Here, between you, me…the tree, the rock, everywhere! Yes, even between the land and the ship.”

FAITH

Yoda,”You must unlearn what you have learned…”

Today, many people probably love Star Wars because they say the Force idea represents their religion. I would say, yeah, it's all that in a way, but that’s not even the half of it. Before there was what we think of as the modern day religions, like the judeo-christian-islamic stuff (really a construct and tool of politics and power), before and after the era of Jesus, there were the mystery religions or mystery schools around the world. Author John Lash says, “the initiates of mysteries, who were truly educators, they taught people to read and write, the sciences, the arts, they founded the great universities and libraries of the ancient world…the Mysteries were more like a collegiate or educational system; this is how they operated…it was through that they encountered the organic light, that they were able to realize their own godlike potential, that is the divine intelligence in us, in everywhere in nature, it’s in the snails, it’s in the clouds, but it’s in us in a particular way…”

Author Tricia McCannon (1,2,3) talks about how teenage Jesus traveled around the world, learning the mystery teachings from shamans, priests, the Druids, the Essenes, the Brahmins, the Magi and the Egyptians; traveling from England to Tibet. Other researchers have talked about the similarity of Jesus' transfiguration to other certain famous figures ( lamas, Buddha) having also attained similar enlightened, light-being states, certain DNA being activated, the third eye opening up, deification, apotheosis, or a god-like state, where the temporary physical body achieves a vibrational state to become a light being, which ties into quantum energy theory. It could be as literal as that -- just like when Yoda or Obi-Wan dies (“If you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.”) and physically disappears to become light-beings, pure energy. Lucas describes it as “joining the Force at will” and “being able to retain your personality, your individuality once you’ve gone over to the other side.” Individual consciousness remains, yet merges with the one-consciousness. Or it could be as much as about achieving other powers according to one‘s unique divine potential, whatever that may mean. Again, I’m not the expert to rely on to explain it the best. Other researchers like William Henry talk about this and use ancient icons and art depicting Jesus as examples of the energy halos and/or stargates commonly depicted surrounding him. Mystic and freemason Manly P. Hall wrote about Jesus traveling the world, learning the mysteries, and other figures being similar to Jesus as well. It all does have aspects of freemasonry/illuminati all over it; as The Great Work seems to be about the secret of this alchemy, this transfiguration of oneself; a secret they'd like to keep for themselves to keep you subordinate, and attached to this material world, possibly. "The Great Work is, before all things, the creation of man by himself, that is to say, the full and entire conquest of his faculties and his future; it is especially the perfect emancipation of his will, assuring him... full power over the Universal Magical Agent," wrote occultist and influential mason Eliphas Levi. "...there exists in nature a force...by means of which a single man, who knows how to adapt and direct it, might upset and alter the face of the world. This force was known to the ancients; it consists in a universal agent having equilibrium for its supreme law, while its direction is concerned immediately with the great arcanum of transcendental magic...This agent...is precisely that which the adepts of the middle ages denominated the first matter of the Great Work. The Gnostics represented it as the fiery body of the Holy Spirit; it was the object of adoration in the secret rites of the Sabbath and the Temple, under the hieroglyphic figure of Baphomet of the Androgyne of Mendes." So...I'm sure all this could be taken with a grain of salt, as masons/illuminati are master deceivers. Meaning, consider the history of the mystery schools existing in the ancient world, then being bullied almost out of existence by the Romans and Constantine, and then things like christianity co-opting of those pagan practices in a new propaganda -- likewise has the illuminati co-opted the mystery religions?

Author on the mysteries John Lash separates what the original mystery schools were, from what people claim the illuminati believe. "The claim of deification, that is, the turning of a human being into a god, or in the same sense, achieving a superhuman state...or the realization of some divine empowerment -- that is simply not the case, in the sense that initiation in the mysteries would have fostered in people a sense of being superhuman or godlike and therefore superior to all other people. Not at all. The experience of the initiation in the mysteries allowed those who underwent it to discover their own hidden powers, especially the hidden power of the divine intelligence...The elevation of human consciousness in the mysteries, the heightened awareness, was not an inflation of the ego to a god-like state. It was the discovery of one's divine intelligence. And that germ of divine intelligence exists in everyone." In other words, the illuminati elitist sociopathic spin on occultism/the mysteries to mean you can create supermen, like Hitler's idea, should be separated from the original benign occultists who see the mysteries as the discovery of one's own divine potential. Personally, I still don't know what that specifically means, but maybe that is precisely the point. Everyone needs to find their own answers and think for themselves.

On the strange cave scene in episode 5, Lucas says, “Part of going into the tree is learning about the Force, learning about the fact that the Force is within you, and at the same time you create your own bad vibes. So, if you think about badly things or if you act badly or you bring fear into a situation, you’re gonna have to defend yourself or you’re gonna have to suffer the consequences of that. In this particular case, he takes his sword in with him, which means he’s going to have combat. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t. He’s creating this situation in his mind because on a larger level what caused Darth Vader to become Darth Vader is the same thing that makes Luke bring that sword in with him. …He has the capacity to become Darth Vader simply by using hate and fear and using weapons and opposed to using compassion, caring, and kindness.”

Spiritual leaders today talk about raising your positive energy vibrations; by meditation, eating good, compassion, helping the world, do positive things as such, and thus, positive things will come to your life -- "living with intention." Negative thoughts and negative energies manifest negative situations and things for you. There’s positive and negative energy, a polarity, a light and dark side to this force.

Irvin Kershner says, “Luke is gonna have to face himself, his fears. And when he (Yoda) tells him, ‘you don’t need the guns, you don’t need all that stuff…uh-uh, he’s still a weak man, he still needs guns, and sabers. That shows that he’s still weak. Anybody that needs a gun is weak.”

On the scene where Luke is upside down, levitating rocks, Lucas says, “Ultimately it comes down to the power of positive thinking, or your belief system. If you believe in something, then it will work. If you don’t, it won’t. And part of getting something done in your life is to believe you can do it. A lot of these scenes are very old in nature and common wisdom, told in all kinds of stories. And one of them is believe in yourself, and believe in what you’re doing. People used to pass on this kind of information to the younger generation.”

Luke, “I don’t believe it.”
Yoda, “That is why you fail.”

Well, powers like ESP are proven to be important enough to have millions of dollars of tax payer money in government projects, like the Stargate Project, which used things like remote viewing in the cold war era. A key figure being Joseph McMoneagle. Through tests like Project Talent, the government sought out kids with special abilities and recruited them. Duncan O’Finioan talks about being recruited for especially being “half-Irish and half-Cherokee -- the two races (Celts and Indians) of people who have the highest number of children born with PSI or ESP abilities.” Perhaps there is something to the belief in the bloodlines. “The Force is strong in my family,” Luke says. The Jedi’s use blood tests to determine the midi-chlorian count in an individual. Well, the illuminati elitists believe blood is important That’s why royalty inter-marry. They’re a bunch of inbreds. Yet, however different races are biologically different, the issue of inferior or superior is a another can of worms.

LAST SCENE IN EPISODE 4
The medal scene at the end of A New Hope does evoke the feeling of the end of the Nazi’s Triumph of the Will, with the symmetrical endless lines of troops and ceremony and Albert Speer-ish backdrop. Knowing what I know now, I lean toward interpreting that to mean a warning to us that the new republic could very well turn corrupt again -- it has happened before, not too long ago and far away -- if it isn‘t already. Learn from history’s mistakes, learn to see the signs corruption and signs of a dictatorship, learn how a good ideal republic behaves.

Deconstructing the Movies of George Lucas: part 2

Who would’ve thought that over 10 years out of school I would be writing essays and papers for fun.

“Luke, you’re going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.” -Obi-Wan.
My point of view, my interests, in this deconstruction analysis lies mostly in the historical, political, and artistic aspects of the Star Wars films. I would go further and also add that many of our truths depend on how much info you have. The more info, the more knowledge. I’m not saying I know ALL, but I do a lot of research; I’m not pulling things out of my ass. And, here, in this part 2 little re-introduction, I write this for people who can think for themselves, have a curiosity for research, and true die-hard fans of Star Wars and other movies.

THE CLONE WARS AND FALSE FLAGS
In Episode 4, Luke and Obi-Wan find the Jawa’s sand crawler in smoldering ruins. Luke assumes it was the Sand People, but Obi-Wan knows what’s up. The evidence shows it was storm troopers.

In episode 1, the Battle of Naboo starts with the invasion of the Trade Federation army, but we know what really went down. Naboo’s own senator Palpatine tells the Neimoidians what to do.

Zam Wesell, via Jango Fett and Dooku, attempted to assassinate Padme at the beginning of episode 2. Basically, the Sith again.

Palpatine created both the droid army as well as the clone army. He uses Dooku to rally the Trade Federation and other Separatists to continue to make the droid army, and uses JedI Master Sifo-Dyas (according to Wookieepedia) to make a clone army, with Tyrannus/Dooku overseeing that as well. And Palpatine creates other lies for the senate and public to get their votes. Compartmentalization. The lie is different at every level. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Like 2 parties, 2 opposing sides are both controlled by the same shadowy body. The whole Clone Wars is a big contrivance to make Palpatine emperor. The classic Star Wars is the real war, when the rebellion finally wake up and see the light.

A False Flag operation is an operation that is blamed on another country's or entity's “flag.” A big frame up to deceive the public. And I would also call a provocation to attack a false flag because it’s the same entity starting it and manipulating things. So, why do that? Look at who stands to gain what. They do this mostly to seem like victims of an enemy attack, thus justifying war, but really to gain either natural resources, territory, to overthrow regimes to put in an obedient puppet leader, war profiteer, etc.

As a general tactic, it goes by several names. The same entity creating the problem is the same entity providing the solution (AKA problem-reaction-solution, AKA the Hegelian Dialectic, AKA Thesis, Antithesis and Synthesis). Polarizing sides of an issue are created to have a predetermined outcome.

There are many real-world examples on most so-called "terrorism" that then leads to an intended outcome. Nazi leader Hermann Goering at the Nuremberg trials said, “Of course the people don’t want war. But after all, it’s the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it’s a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.” So, Operation Himmler and the Gleiwitz incident, where Nazis framed Poles, gave Nazi Germany justification to invade Poland, which started WW2. And then the Reichstag Fire was started (some question) by the Nazis but blamed on the Commies, but it cannot be questioned that it begat the Reichstag Fire Decree (which resembles The USAPATRIOT act) and Enabling Act, giving emergency powahs (Jar-Jar voice) to Hitler. [However, the bigger picture for WW2 is that it begat the UN, IMF, and World Bank.] Hitler said, “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.” The Big Lie is a propaganda tactic. Joeseph Goebbels said. “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

There are many false flags throughout history. Lucas often sites the Vietnam War as an influence, so the Gulf of Tonkin manipulation was definitely in his mind. Many CIA plots blamed and created a communist terror. The proposed Operation Northwoods. Bay of Pigs. Operation Ajax. This is the phantom menace -- a phantom terrorist. Whatever is played over and over in mainstream corporate media is always suspicious. The US created Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. The obvious inside job of 9/11 (or should be obvious to anyone who has studied implosions and building structure -- for any doubt on Al-CIA-da there’s plenty of material out there, like the BBC’s The Power of Nightmares, and Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth’s 9/11: Blueprint for Truth) led to a lie of WMD’s, in a country, Iraq, irrelevant of Bin Laden (who is publicly blamed but not even attributed to 9/11 on the FBI's own wanted list), the vague name-changing unending War on Terror, leading to soft-fascism for Americans, reducing civil liberties.

So-called “domestic terrorism” in the real world are mostly false flags. Ruby Ridge and Waco are interesting weird and sad incidents involving the military and media whitewash. Oklahoma City’s bombing had a bomb squad removing unexploded bombs within the building when the blame was on McVeigh's van on the sidewalk. In a 1999 civil trial the government and police are officially blamed for murdering MLKjr. JFK reeks of CIA. The recent Xmas/underwear bomber was escorted onto the plane without a passport by a “well-dressed” CIA handler. The recent Portland’s bomber had FBI involvement. Countless other “domestic terrorists” were created and entrapped with government aid and then fueled by corporate propaganda media news(1,2,3). Keep repeating the lies, and the public will believe the lies. The public is lazy enough to not research and think for themselves. What comes out of this? Because they think people actually bought the so-called domestic terrorism, the US feels it’s justified to a soft-fascistic crackdown on US citizen’s rights: with Michael Chertoff’s conflict of interest body scanners for the TSA, and their VIPR teams, TSA invading Wal-marts, hotels, malls, and superbowls now, anti-gun laws, Obama’s internet kill switch, Obama's citizen kill list, FDA control on farms (like Bigg's warning to Luke about their farm in Empire control in an Episode 4 deleted scene), data-mining (an aspect of the big brother world in another Lucas film, THX1138), targeting dissenters, limiting free speech. (see Naomi Wolf’s 10 steps to fascism work)

And the thing about anti-gun laws and gun confiscation, as they did in New Orleans, is that they want to disarm the public so they can’t have an American Revolution part 2. Maybe this is why all the Rebel Alliance’s equipment and vehicles look jerry-rigged from spare parts or captured vehicles. The Poles militia fought the Nazis with captured Nazi weapons.

REGIONAL GOVERNORS
By episode 4, the Emperor puts regional governors in power.
Governor Tarkin:”The imperial senate will no longer be of any concern to us. I have just received word that the emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the old Republic have been swept away.”
General Tagge:“That’s impossible. How will the emperor maintain control without the bureaucracy?”
Governor Tarkin:”The regional governors now have direct control over their territories. Fear will keep the local systems in line -- fear of this battle station.” Appointed, as in unelected, governors ensure direct orders from the dictator are carried out, bypassing state‘s rights. The Romans and Nazis had regional governors. In a state of emergency in the US, there is FEMA and the continuity of government. FEMA has already divided the country in regions on a map on FEMA’s own website; the federal districts were created by Nixon. Look up Obama’s Council of Governors executive order. Kiss state’s rights goodbye.

YOU DON’T NEED TO SEE HIS IDENTIFICATION -- POLICE STATE
A police state looks like Mos Eisley, with intimidating stormtroopers walking around, asking,”Let me see your identification,” like Nazis asking for “your papers, please.” Being suspected automatically creates the feeling of guilt, or subordination by fear. The founding fathers of the US felt you have a right to privacy to feel safe. Illegal search and seizure, invading your privacy, basically being guilty until proven innocent is already permitted in the USAPATRIOT act and other legislation. I just heard they're currently trying to quietly make the PATRIOT act permanent. Obama wants an internet ID. They were writing a Homegrown Terrorism act and calls for indefinite detention. The MIAC report targets civilians for just having certain alternative views and beliefs, like a thought police. Dissenters are targeted; seen as treasonous enemies to state. Despite freedom of speech, if you question the government, they arrest you. And Americans have been arrested for that. Sounds like communism, fascism; all that. However, it will fall apart the more people acknowledge the phantom menace/terror.

A fascist state deals in absolutes; one cannot question authority. Their way or the highway. Bad Anakin goes, “If you’re not with me, then you’re my enemy.” Obi-wan replies, “Only a Sith deals in absolutes.” After 9/11, Bush said to the rest of the world, “If you are not with us, you are with the terrorists.” Wow. No one one in the world can be neutral? On climategate, Gore and Obama kept saying, “The science is settled.” Really? You can’t have a discussion with the 30,000 scientists suing Gore and address all the errors in Gore’s movie? Remember the Black shirts and Brown shirts.

Just like in classic freemasonic double-speak, in episode 3, the Emperor appears benevolent, saying things like, “In order to ensure our security and continuing stability, the Republic will be reorganized into the first Empire, for a safe and secure society…” Hitler said the same glowing protective and patriotic stuff -- doesn’t mean anything… for its citizens. US safety and (Homeland, a word Hitler would loved, along with Fatherland) security as wartime solutions are given as reasons, but legislation and actions say otherwise. The root of the problem is who really is behind the phantom terror that we need to be safe and secure from.

“Fear” is huge in the Star Wars movies. “Fear will keep the local systems in line,” Tarkin said. “I sense much fear in you.” Yoda says to Anakin. Everyone talks about it all the friggin time, because it’s true that tyrannical governments throughout history feel the need to do this to keep people in line. However, the whole trick is to let go of fear, gain knowledge to be aware and not fear, and do all the things Obi-Wan and Yoda says. More on that later.

However much evidence there is of possible martial law (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18), the reality is IMO there is not enough of a military force to keep everyone under control -- there’s too many people, for now. So until they depopulate the place to a manageable size, they need to coerce citizens to do their work for them. Bring in the rats. Rat out your friends and family.

LANDO
Lando Calrissian turns his friends in to Darth Vader. Homeland Security is trying to get citizens to turn on each other by partnering with Walmart, malls and hotels with their PSA announcements, and “See Something, Say Something“ and “Stop. Think. Connect.” propaganda campaigns. They say paying in cash is suspicious. Taking photos is suspicious. How in the world the Nazis got its own German citizens to work for them is NOT surprising, really. I think Lando was bribed, and naive, but it's still about civilians turning in civilians. (1,2,3,)

In the Empire Strikes Back commentary, Lucas says, “…with Lando….by making a pact with the devil, he’s not gonna win. It’s gonna get worse and worse and worse for him. The more he appeases Darth Vader, the more he joins, and the more things he does, the worse his situation keeps getting…he’s on a route he can’t get out of.”

Deconstructing the Movies of George Lucas: part 1

This is my analysis of Lucas’ most popular films explained in terms of real world, historical and modern day, global and cultural influences. Sure, most people love them as pure entertainment. I do, too. Sure, you can read about his Joseph Campbell mythological stuff, the religious influences, and pulp serial cinematic influences elsewhere, but my analysis will be slightly different. I try to read as much as I can on what Lucas had in mind when making his movies. I've never met him, though I know he's fascinated with history and anthropology, and the more I research those things as well, the more I see these movies in a whole new light than when I was a kid watching them for the first time.

STAR WARS - EPISODES 1-6
In episode 3, the evil empire is born and Padme says, “So this is how liberty dies … with thunderous applause.” That one genius line pretty much sums up the whole thing.

In a 2002 Time magazine interview, Lucas said, “All democracies turn into dictatorships -- but not by coup. The people give their democracy to a dictator, whether it’s Julius Caesar or Napoleon or Adolf Hitler. Ultimately, the general population goes along with the idea … What kinds of things push people and institutions into this direction? … That’s the issue that I’ve been exploring: How did the Republic turn into the Empire? That’s paralleled with: How did Anakin turn into Darth Vader? How does a good person go bad, and how does a democracy become a dictatorship? It isn’t that the Empire conquered the Republic, it’s that the Empire is the Republic … One day Princess Leia and her friends woke up and said, ‘This isn‘t the Republic anymore, it‘s the Empire. We are the bad guys. Well, we don‘t agree with this. This democracy is a sham, it‘s all wrong.”

Here's an excerpt from a Michael Badnarik's Constitution class on what republics and democracies are, and how they turn to dictatorships.

The Making of Star Wars by J.W. Rinzler has Lucas' early handwritten notes which, from what I can make out, reads, “The Empire is like America ten years from now; after; Nixon-ian gangsters (assassinated?) the emperor and were elected to power in a rigged election; created civil disorder by instigating race riots, aiding rebel groups, and allowing the crime rate to rise to the point where a “total control” police state was welcomed by the people. Then the people were exploited with taxes, utility and transport costs. Gangsters (a cartel?) made up of power companies, transport companies and crime organizations. Other companies had to pay bribes to stay in business. They increased the crime rate by slowing down the system of justice and punishment…We are at a turning point: fascism or revolution.” Lucas saw this in the 60's and 70's. Each of those points is happening in America now. Everything is merging into huge corporations. A revolving door of private and government personnel manufacture societal problems, leading to chaos, creating a republic to welcome a fascist state to bring peace and order. The people welcome it with thunderous applause, time again, throughout history. And the point is that it is "fascism," not necessarily one dictator, that what we should be wary of. Also, just as Lucas said his idea was to get kids interested in history with the Young Indiana Jones series, I think he has largely done that with Star Wars (a fantasy/sci-fi movie). Children are the future of the nation. We should learn history, or we're doomed to repeat it. I hated history when I was a kid, but can't get enough of it today, because real history is so friggin insane. Hitler, Napoleon, Caesar, the American 20th century was insanely surreal -- you can't make that stuff up. I believe a lot of why most films and video games today lack intelligence and universal and timeless appeal is that they don't know history; it doesn't resonate in humanity. Star Wars does.

A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY…
Yes, the "A long time ago, far far away..." line is very mythic and fairytale-like, but the key thing here is that it's strangely on a sci-fi film. Before Nazi Germany, before Rome, etc. there are sources that go way back for millennia that tell of the rise and fall of great civilizations -- it’s a timeless tale. I'm talking Hindu's Yugas or The Great Ages. There are ruins of destroyed civilizations that are dated much further back than the mainstream's timeline of humanity. Everything is mathematically cyclical, but not circular, more like spiral. And this is like quantum theory, which is like the Force, but I'll get into that later. History doesn't repeat itself exactly one to one. Because of free will, we do grow and learn from our mistakes IF we learn from the past, gain knowledge, make educated choices. Lucas sets you up to watch a sci-fi film, a genre which most people assume is about the future, but then says, no, this is a cyclical tale played out over and over throughout time.

HEIGHT OF THE REPUBLIC
The architecture of Naboo is clearly influenced by Greco-Roman styles, with it’s domed roofs, arches and columns. The pastoral greenery and city landscaping evoke idealistic romanticism and pre-Raphaelite art. The organic Gungan designs are very Art Nouveau, showing not only a oneness with nature, but a high point in craftsmanship. And what was the response to Art Nouveau? Bauhaus; which is very black and white with minimal geometry. More on that later.

"So it was with the Republic at its height. Like the greatest of trees, able to withstand any external attack, the Republic rotted from within though the danger was not visible from the outside. Aided and abetted by restless, power-hungry individuals within the government, and the massive organs of commerce, the ambitious Senator Palpatine caused himself to be elected President of the Republic." --Star Wars novel. Words to heed.

SECRET SOCIETY SITH MENACE
The Sith were a secret society, so secret that the Jedi in the prequels denied their existence. Even Mace Windu and Yoda didn’t believe they were behind it all until it was too late. Like Lucas said, it's not really by coup; it was mostly by a stealthy political infiltration that the Sith gained power. Sidious manipulates Amidala, the Trade Federation, and the Senate to give him more and more powers, incrementally, eventually becoming Emperor. Sidious creates the whole friggin Star Wars! (BTW, I only know the SW movies, not the Expanded Universe) Throughout history, secret societies have repeatedly attempted this plot, almost with the same MO, just like the MO of a serial killer.

Napoleon was interested in the occult, and had his men in Egypt studying everything there, dissecting the culture, had things translated, had a Book of Fate and Oraculum, said to give him powers and the successes he's had. Many scholars debate if Napoleon was a mason himself, but J.E.S. Tuckett, in Napoleon I and Freemasonry says, "There is incontestable evidence that Napoleon was acquainted with the nature, aims and organization of Freemasonry: that he approved of and made use of it to further his own ends." Most of the leaders of the French Revolution were Freemasons (Jacobins), creating grassroots chaos (like today in Egypt). This economic and political chaos led by certain figures is one of the first signs to watch out for (I'm not saying revolution is bad, but look at who the leaders are and what they stand for). Then, the unstable government called the The Directory does a crap job, with "no confidence," so in comes in a triumvirate of plotting masons, including Napoleon, but in the end it's basically Napoleon giving himself increasingly dictatorial power. Likewise, Palpatine.

Taking a step back, let me clarify again about freemasonry and illuminati (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,), as I have in other posts. Instead of blindly parroting the mainstream knee-jerk act of ignorant ridicule of things without looking it, let me suggest some investigation. Today we know of the mafia, for example, but they were as secret as the illuminati. I'm not saying the mafia aims for global domination, I just bring up the reality of their existence, because it was FBI director J. Edgar Hoover that denied the mafia's existence. Many founding fathers of the US were masons, and spoke out against the illuminati. The illuminati is acknowledged in the history books as the Bavarian illuminati, although many believe it's really older than that, in one form or another. George Washington acknowledged that the illuminati have infiltrated the higher levels of freemasonry, and their actions are certainly evident of it. What they do, and said they would do, in a nutshell, is what Palpatine and the Sith did -- is infiltrate all aspects of society, be outwardly philanthropic, but inwardly power-hungry and willing to do whatever is necessary for the greater good, aiming for global control (they are also called the New World Order, and I have a Lucas quote about that later). The emperors of history always want global domination. This is all similarly described in the prologue to the Star Wars novelization, quoted above. A timeless tale? Or tale resonating because it's fact?

Another example of same MO is obviously Hitler and the Nazis; probably what Star Wars is most often compared to. Nazi leaders were occultists (as seen in the Indiana Jones films), but obviously the dark side of the occult. The History Channel has a documentary called Hitler and the Occult. Hitler and his men were from the Vril and Thule secret societies; a key leader being freemason occultist Rudolf von Sebottendorff. This is the anti-Semitic and aryan race stuff; believing the power in the blood lines, as does the Star Wars' Force runs strong in the bloodlines idea. Other key figures were Madame Helena Blavatsky and Aleister Crowley. The BBC documentary The Nazis, A Warning From History and Antony Sutton explains how Hitler had all sorts of help in his rise to power, such being funded from US banks and corporations for his National Socialist party and meeting places. Weimar Germany was in chaos, economic depression, there was no confidence in senile Chancellor Hindenburg. Sound familiar? He just signed off on anything, and even gave emergency powers to Hitler, and made him chancellor, who got himself incrementally more dictatorial powers. I simplified the details here, but go will into them later.

And this same-old same-old story hits close to home. John Perkins, author of The Secret History of the American Empire: Economic Hit Men, Jackals and the Truth about Global Corruption, in 2007 on Democracy Now! said, "... since World War II, we economic hit men have managed to create the world’s first truly global empire, and we’ve done it primarily without the military, unlike other empires in history. We’ve done it through economics very subtly. We work many different ways, but perhaps the most common one is that we will identify a third world country that has resources our corporations covet, such as oil, and then we arrange a huge loan to that country from the World Bank or one of its sister organizations. The money never actually goes to the country. It goes instead to US corporations, who build big infrastructure projects—power grids, industrial parks, harbors, highways—things that benefit a few very rich people but do not reach the poor at all. The poor aren’t connected to the power grids. They don’t have the skills to get jobs in industrial parks. But they and the whole country are left holding this huge debt, and it’s such a big bet that the country can’t possibly repay it. So at some point in time, we economic hit men go back to the country and say, "Look, you know, you owe us a lot of money. You can’t pay your debt, so you’ve got to give us a pound of flesh."

"Well, the Group of Eight are the wealthiest countries in the world, and basically they run the world. And the leader is the United States, and it’s actually the corporations within these companies—countries, excuse me—that run it. It’s not the governments, because, after all, the governments serve at the pleasure of the corporations. In our own country, we know that the next two final presidential candidates, Republican and Democrat alike, are going to each have to raise something like half a billion dollars. And that’s not going to come from me and you. Primarily that’s going to come from the people who own and run our big corporations. They’re totally beholden to the government. So the G8 really is this group of countries that represent the biggest multinational corporations in the world and really serve at their behest."

"And what we’re seeing now in Europe—and we’re seeing it very strongly in Latin America, we’re seeing it in the Middle East—we’re seeing this huge undercurrent of resistance, of protest, against this empire that’s been built out of this. And it’s been such a subtle empire that people haven’t been aware of it, because it wasn’t built by the military. It was built by economic hit men. Most of us aren’t aware of it. Most Americans have no idea that these incredible lifestyles that we all lead are because we’re part of a very vicious empire that literally enslaves people around the world, misuses people. But we’re beginning to understand this. And the Europeans and the Latin Americans are at the forefront of this understanding."

"... this empire that we’ve created really has an emperor, and it’s not the president of this country. The President serves, you know, for a short period of time. But it doesn’t really matter whether we have a Democrat or a Republican in the White House or running Congress; the empire goes on, because it’s really run by what I call the corporatocracy, which is a group of men who run our biggest corporations. This isn’t a conspiracy theory. They don’t need to conspire. They all know what serves their best interest. But they really are the equivalent of the emperor, because they do not serve at the wish of the people, they’re not democratically elected, they don’t serve any limited term. They essentially answer to no one, except their own boards, and most corporate CEOs actually run their boards, rather than the other way around. And they are the power behind this."

[Going on a tangent, it's not all gloom-n-doom if we take control back. Don't support big corporate stuff, like wal-mart, and made-in-china stuff -- buy local. He brings up the point that we, people, have indeed changed they way corporations do things in the past by demanding it and being knowledgeable, and we can do much more.]

THE TRADE FEDERATION AND CORPORATIONS
Why do the Neimodians have Asian accents? Is Lucas implying the Chinese?
The Trade Federation is obviously under the thumb of the Sith, as they are doing whatever Darth Sidious, AKA Senator Palpatine, commands. We witness the Sith manipulating both sides in the Clone Wars. The Sith can’t do it alone.
